Sharing your folders with another user in Entourage 2004/2008

    Giving access to another user’s folder is different from delegating permissions.

    • If you want some one to be able to manage your folders (and give send as permission) you would need to set up delegation permissions.
    • If you would like to share folders with another exchange user please continue….

1. With in Entourage 2004/2008, hold down CONTROL key and click the folder (for example. Inbox, Address Book, Calendar) that you want to share, and then click "Sharing".

2. Click Add users

3. Search for the user by name, ounce you have located the user you want to share the folder with, highlight it and click advanced.

4. Enter the domain “MAIL” and account ID this is the company.username (for example yours is company.username ) the user that you are sharing the folder with. Then click OK.

Accessing another user folder in Entourage

How to view another user folders in Entourage

1. Ounce you have been given the permission to view another users folder go to file > “Open Other User’s Folder…"

2. Click the Address book Address book Icon to the right.

3. Search for the user by name, ounce you have locate the user, highlight it and click advanced.

5. Type in the name of the user and also the Alternate E-mail address for the user for example. company.username@AlternateDomain.com

6. Click OK and you should now be able to see the shared item.
